BOOSTER SYSTEM OPTIONS

Horizontal, Vertical or VFD Based

Every booster set starts with the right pump. We select horizontal or vertical multistage pumps for your flow, head and plant room, then add fixed-speed or variable-speed control to suit how your demand changes.

Two horizontal multistage booster pumps on a base frame with stainless steel manifoldH

OPTION 1 · HORIZONTAL

Horizontal Multistage Booster Systems

Horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps lie flat on a base frame, so the motor, seal and bearings are easy to reach. They suit plant rooms with low ceilings, suction from underground tanks, and duties that need higher flows at moderate heads.

  • 160 m³/hTypical max. flow
  • 220 mTypical max. head
  • SS / CIWetted parts
  • Easy access for maintenance
  • Low headroom installations
  • Good suction performance
  • Close-coupled or long-coupled
  • Single, twin or multi-pump sets
  • DOL, star-delta or VFD

Best for: basements with limited height, transfer and filling duties, irrigation, process water and RO feed.

Three vertical inline multistage booster pumps on stainless steel headersV

OPTION 2 · VERTICAL

Vertical Multistage Inline Booster Systems

Vertical inline multistage pumps have suction and discharge on the same level and stand upright with the motor on top. Several pumps fit side by side on a compact skid, which saves floor space and keeps the piping simple, even at high heads.

  • 200 m³/hTypical max. per pump
  • 320 mTypical max. head
  • StainlessSS 304 or SS 316
  • Smallest floor footprint
  • Inline suction and discharge
  • High heads in one pump
  • Cartridge mechanical seal
  • Quiet, low vibration
  • 16 bar standard, 25 bar option

Best for: high-rise towers, hotels, hospitals, commercial buildings and packaged multi-pump booster sets.

Variable speed booster set with motor-mounted drives and touchscreen control panelVFD

OPTION 3 · VFD BASED

VFD-Based Constant Pressure Booster Systems

A variable frequency drive changes pump speed to match demand. A pressure transmitter on the discharge header tells the controller the actual pressure, and the drive speeds the pump up or slows it down to hold the set point, whether one tap or a hundred are open. Available with horizontal or vertical pumps.

  • ±0.1 barTypical pressure band
  • 30 – 50%Possible energy saving
  • 1 – 6Pumps per set
  • Constant pressure at every outlet
  • Soft start, no water hammer
  • Lower energy at part load
  • Fewer starts, longer pump life
  • One VFD per pump or cascade
  • PLC / HMI with BMS signals

Best for: buildings and plants where demand varies through the day, such as towers, hotels, hospitals, malls and district supply.

SYSTEMS & CONFIGURATIONS

Booster Sets for Every Building and Process

From a compact booster for a villa to multi-pump sets for towers and townships. Each set is built on a common skid with manifolds, valves, pressure vessels and a control panel, and is factory tested before dispatch.

Compact single-pump domestic pressure booster with pressure tank01

Compact Single-Pump Booster

Villas, apartments & small buildings

A single horizontal or vertical multistage pump with an electronic pressure controller or pressure switch and a small pressure vessel. It starts on demand and keeps a steady pressure at showers, kitchens and garden points.

Pressure / flow controller • Dry-run protection • Plug & play

Twin duty and standby water booster set on a skid02

Duty / Standby Twin Booster Set

2 pumps · 1 working + 1 standby

Two identical pumps on a common skid with manifolds, non-return and isolation valves. The pumps alternate automatically to share running hours, and the standby pump takes over if the duty pump trips.

Auto changeover • Alternation • DOL or VFD control

Multi-pump variable speed booster set with control panel03

Multi-Pump Cascade Booster Set

3 – 6 pumps · Fixed or variable speed

Larger packaged sets where pumps start and stop in sequence as demand rises and falls. Ideal for high-rise towers, hotels, hospitals and district supply where demand varies widely through the day.

Cascade control • Duty rotation • Common headers

Row of diaphragm hydropneumatic pressure vessels04

Hydropneumatic Pressure Vessels

Diaphragm / bladder tanks · 8 – 2,000 L

Pressure vessels store a small volume of pressurised water, cut the number of pump starts, cover small draw-offs at night and absorb pressure surges. Sized to suit each booster set.

Butyl / EPDM membrane • 10 or 16 bar • Potable grade

Pump control panel with variable frequency drives and PLC05

Booster Control Panels

DOL · Star-delta · Soft starter · VFD · PLC

Control panels built for each set, with motor protection, auto/manual selection, dry-run and low/high pressure cut-outs, and optional PLC with touchscreen HMI for multi-pump logic.

IP54 / IP55 • Phase failure protection • BMS signals

IoT Remote Monitoring

Pressure, flow, energy & alarms online

Connect the booster set to a cloud dashboard to watch pressure, flow, running hours and energy use, and receive alarms by SMS or e-mail. It helps facility teams plan maintenance before a breakdown.

HOW A VFD BOOSTER WORKS

Speed Follows Demand,
Pressure Stays Steady

Demand → Pressure transmitter → VFD → Pump speed

When taps open, pressure in the header starts to fall. The transmitter senses it and the drive speeds the pump up; when demand drops, the pump slows down or stops. In a multi-pump set, extra pumps join in cascade only when they are needed, and duty rotates so all pumps share the running hours.
