END-TO-END CONSULTANCY

From Feasibility to Validated Deliverables

Whether it is a new water treatment plant, a desalination plant, an STP, an ETP or the upgrade of an existing plant, we stay with the project through every stage. Select a stage to see what we do and what you receive.

STAGE 01

Feasibility Study

We establish whether the project makes technical and commercial sense before money is committed to design or construction.

What we do

  • Site visit and survey of existing facilities
  • Water demand, sewage or effluent load estimates
  • Land, power and utility availability
  • Regulatory and consent requirements
  • Options with order-of-magnitude capex and opex

You receive

  • Feasibility report
  • Options and cost comparison
  • Risk and constraint register
  • Recommended way forward

TECHNOLOGY SELECTION

The Right Technology, Not Just a Familiar One

An example of how we compare biological treatment options for a sewage treatment plant. The same method is used for water treatment, desalination, ETP and ZLD schemes, scored against each project's own priorities.

ANALYSIS & MODELLING

Simulate Before You Build

Simulation finds problems while they are still cheap to fix: on screen, not on site. We use CFD, FEA and 3D modelling to prove that tanks, reactors, structures and piping will perform as intended.

CFD velocity contours and streamlines in a circular clarifier and an aeration tankCFD

COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS

CFD Analysis

CFD models how water, air and solids actually move through a tank or reactor. It shows dead zones, short-circuiting and poor mixing that hand calculations cannot, so the design can be corrected before construction or an existing plant can be fixed without guesswork.

  • VelocityContours & streamlines
  • RTDResidence time distribution
  • MixingDead zones & short-circuiting
  • Clarifiers and settling tanks
  • Aeration tank mixing and air distribution
  • Chlorine contact tank baffling
  • UV reactor dose distribution
  • Inlet channels and flow splitters
  • Pump sump and intake design
  • Mixing and flocculation tanks
  • Desalination intake and brine outfall

Outcome: better treatment from the same tank volume, lower energy and fewer process upsets.

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS

FEA Analysis

FEA checks how tanks, vessels, frames and supports respond to water load, pressure, wind, seismic forces and vibration. It confirms strength and stiffness, shows where stress concentrates, and lets us optimise material without compromising safety.

  • StressVon Mises & hot spots
  • DeflectionStiffness & factor of safety
  • ModalNatural frequencies
  • Steel, FRP and HDPE tanks
  • Pressure vessels and filter shells
  • Skid frames and lifting points
  • Pipe supports and nozzle loads
  • Clarifier bridges and walkways
  • Blower and pump foundations
  • Wind and seismic load checks
  • Retrofit and failure investigations

Outcome: safe, right-sized structures, less over-design and fewer field failures.

3D MODELLING & DRAWINGS

3D Drawings & Plant Models

Detailed 3D models of plants, plant rooms and skids let everyone see the design before it is built. Clashes are removed on screen, access for operation and maintenance is checked, and accurate 2D drawings are produced from the same model.

  • LayoutsPlant & plant room
  • PipingRouting & clash checks
  • SkidsFabrication-ready
  • 3D plant and equipment layouts
  • Piping routing and isometrics
  • Skid and package unit models
  • GA, sectional and fabrication drawings
  • Bill of materials from the model
  • Walkthroughs for client reviews
  • Retrofit models of existing plants
  • As-built drawings and models

Outcome: fewer site changes, faster approvals and clear drawings for fabrication and installation.

HOW IT FITS TOGETHER

Design, Simulate, Validate

Every key design decision is checked twice: once on screen and once on site.

Process design sets the sizes. CFD confirms the hydraulics, FEA confirms the structures, and the 3D model confirms the layout. After construction, performance tests confirm the plant meets the design basis, and our O&M team keeps it there.
