    Dr. Vikrant Sarin is a distinguished water and wastewater treatment professional with 31 years of industry experience spanning technical leadership, process development and the implementation of advanced treatment solutions. He holds a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), with his research focused on wastewater treatment using Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology.

    Throughout his career, Dr. Sarin has worked with leading organizations, including Pentair Middle East, Aquatech and Huber Technology, where he contributed to developing and delivering solutions for industrial effluent treatment, recycling and water reuse. His expertise encompasses the development of specialized high-flow-rate clarifiers, oil and grease separator systems, and innovative adsorbent materials for the selective removal of heavy metals, arsenic and organic contaminants from water and wastewater.

    He has also developed an advanced oxidation-based solution for treating spent caustic generated in the petroleum industry, addressing one of the more challenging industrial wastewater streams.

    Combining deep technical knowledge with extensive practical industry experience, Dr. Sarin brings valuable expertise in process innovation, resource recovery and sustainable water management. His work reflects a commitment to developing effective, application-specific treatment technologies that help industries improve effluent quality, recover valuable water resources and advance environmental sustainability.
